Benoit Lemoine

Design Director

Benoit

Benoit is a Design Director who, by his own account, searches for perfection in the details. Influenced by Dutch and Swiss design, minimalism and practicality are pillars of his approach. He applies this consideration to all manners of systems including user experiences, visual identities, and graphic production.

Benoit is from Brittany, France and earned his master’s degree in typography from L’Ecole de Recherche Graphique, in Brussels, Belgium. He has worked at design studios in The Netherlands, Belgium, Canada and now the United States. He has collaborated with art and architectural institutions including The Smithsonian, Istanbul Design Biennial, Columbia University, MAD Mode and Design Center, and Fondation Zinsou to name a few. His work has been exhibited in France, England, Japan and Angola; published in magazines such as Graphic in Korea, IdPure in Switzerland, IdN in China, Etapes in France; in books including several Gestalten titles such as Los Logos, #5, #6, #7, Urban Interventions, and Data Flow; Three D from Birkhauser and Logology 2 from Viction:ary.

When Benoit is away from work, you’ll find him passing time either playing ping pong or soccer; perhaps riding his bike or drinking white wine on a terrasse; maybe even watching old Italian movies or visiting museums.
